The Weekly Comet hosts Tamara Conniff & Jonathan McHugh welcome an award-winning film music producer, filmmaker, social entrepreneur, composer, record producer and songwriter Frank Fitzpatrick and indie supergroup The Rescues.
Frank Fitzpatrick is the founder and director of non profit arts organization EarthTones.
Fitzpatrick has created the soundtracks for over two-dozen films including “Queen of the Damned,” “Scary Movie 3,” “Nuns on the Run,” “In Too Deep,” “Beat the World,” and “Friday.”
He is currently working on “Amazing,” a co-venture between Shanghai Film Group and the National Basketball Association (NBA), which will help promote NBA-Fit health and fitness clinics for young fans and families throughout China.
In 2010, his song “Soul Music,” performed by Anthony Hamilton, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance. The song was the title track for the motion picture “Soul Men.”

The Rescues take the Comet stage and perform their new single “Arrow,” “Be My Cure,” and “Did It Really Even Matter.”
Formed in 2008, the band is comprised of Rob Giles, Kyler England, Adrianne Gonzalez and Gabriel Mann. They all met while working their solo careers in the Los Angeles singer/songwriter circuit.
The band was signed to Universal Republic Records and their second full-length album, “Let Loose the Horses,” was released to massive critical acclaim.
All members have active solo careers, but have come back to the Rescues for a new album to be released independently with the aid of their fans through Pledge Music. The forthcoming album is called “Blah Blah Love and War.”
