Well, we hate to admit it ourselves, but this year is coming to a close, and for most of us that means one thing: What am I going to wear to that New Years Eve Party?
So before we pop the champagne, let’s take a look at a few options for men and women on the most cathartic night of the year, for women, check out: “Dinner with Tiffany” or “The Sequined Tiger”
For men, if you’re spending New Year’s Eve in a nightclub where everybody dons the latest trends, and if you’re aiming for a more polished look, top your shirt off with a classy leather blazer. Great brands that have leather apparel are: Hugo Boss, The Gap, Andrew Marc, DKNY, and Prada. If you’re going to wrap up the New Year at a trendy restaurant or a more traditional hall party, you’ll need to wear a remarkable suit. Make sure your suit fits and looks perfect. If you’re a little less conservative, a sharply cut three-piece suit is a throwback to the ’70s and could definitely put the fever and groove back into your party. If you are very confident, then try the latest plaid suits, but watch out because if improperly worn, they can look extremely tacky. There are just 11 days till the new year, so get out there kids, put some thought into your look, and who knows, if that mistletoe is still hanging around, you may get a few more kisses than expected!
I hate to admit it, but my grandmother and grandfather had way better style than I do. I brought in my grandparents, Josephine and Angelo today! Seriously. Between their decidedly dressed-up casual wear to their to-die-for accessories, it seems that we’ve lost a bit of the glamour that came so naturally back in the day. I do believe that there are some looks that are worth a solid come back! Our friends at Huff Po Style agree so without further ado let me present vintage lady looks that should make a come back in 2014: Full Piece Bathing Suits, Headbands, Hoop Skirts, Gloves,Tights
Around this time, winter wear can get a bit mundane, no? Well, all that means is you should start mixing and matching prints, layer, and trying to bring as much fun to cold-weather dressing as possible. One way to do it? SEQUINS December is the perfect month for gold or silver sequins to come out of the closet so we found these fun looks on Glamour on what you can pair it with, consider mixing up the sequins in Plaid, Camo, Metallics, Leopard Print, and Tribal Knits.

Here are the models who shattered body standards and made a difference in all of our lives in 2013. Iman, Christie Brinkley, Velvet D’amour, Tara Lynn, and Daphne Selfe.
