A great way to gauge where you fall compared to other people regarding your weight is by using a BMI measurement. Many people only use a scale to calculate their weight, but this can be misleading for many reasons.  One of the more common occurences when one starts exercising is we gain muscle and lose fat.  Since muscle is heavier than fat one may think they are not making progress when they step on the scale.  A BMI measurement will abolish this problem.  Here we show you easy step by step instructions on how to measure your own BMI.
