Baywatch Music Supervisor Kevin Edelman on Q Score PART 2

Music supervisor Kevin Edelman sits down and chats with Q Score host Jonathan McHugh. Kevin Edelman is celebrating his 20th anniversary of music-supervision and has worked on 100 projects in those 20 years. In part two of the interview Edelman talks about how he selects the music for some of his most recent TV series such as Homeland, Bones and The Mindy Project.
Kevin Edelman, built the foundation for his music supervision career as a musician and radio DJ. Combined, Kevin has music supervised over a thousand hours of network television, pilots and feature Film. His past projects include Bones, Homeland, Criminal Minds, The Mindy Project and Baywatch.

Jonathan McHugh has spent over two decades working in film, TV and music. Mchugh’s background ranges from record and film company marketing and promotion, producing music themed film and TV shows, to years of music supervision and soundtrack production. McHugh continues to stay active in the industry and bridge the gap between, music and visual media.

Each week on Q Score, Jonathan McHugh takes us behind the scenes of the film and television music we love. McHugh illuminates the process of matching composers, songs, and score to specific scenes by talking to the music supervisors responsible for creating the magic.
