Dian Thomas talks Johnny Carson, her dramatic weight loss and best selling books on Food Exposed

Dian has been a guest on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, which lead to her having a contract on the Today Show, the Home Show and Good Morning America. You can see her on Hallmark’s Home and Family Show as well. Dian has lost a staggering 120 lbs and will share her amazing weight loss success story this week. She’ll give her motivations, struggles and tips for weight loss as well.
This week’s recipe is chock-full of super vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and cancer-fighting folates (on top of being super yummy as well)! Jackie’s Pasta with White Beans & Kale is a low-calorie, low-fat pasta dish that is perfect for those who want to keep pasta in their diet AND lose weight!
White Beans & Kale
Servings: 4 Serving Size: 2 cups
1tbsp.extra virgin olive oil
3cloves garlic, minced
10cups kale, stems removed and chopped
½cupreduced sodium vegetable broth
1tsp.NutriFit Mediterranean Salt Free Spice Blend
1 ½cupspasta, cooked al dente and drained
1tbsp.fresh lemon juice
2cupswhite beans (cannellini or other)
¼cupflat leaf parsley, chopped
¼cupfeta cheese, crumbled
1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic; saute 1 minute. Add kale, broth, spices and pepper, stirring to combine. Cover, reduce heat to medium and simmer 5 minutes or until kale wilts, stirring occasionally.
2. Add pasta, juice and beans to pan, stirring to combine; cook 1 minute or until mixture is thoroughly heated.
3. Divide pasta mixture evenly among 4 plates; sprinkle each serving with 1 tablespoon parsley and 1 tablespoon cheese.

Dian’s television appearances led to contracts with NBC’s Today show, where she was a cast regular for eight years. That was followed by a six-year contract with ABC’s Home Show. During this time she also appeared several times on ABC’s Good Morning America and numerous other national and local television programs. She now is a regular on Hallmark Home and Family.
The secret of Dian’s amazing publicity success is her professionalism. She began her career as an amateur but quickly conquered television, radio, magazines, newspapers, books, and the Internet and other new technologies. Her new venture, entitled How to Get a Million Dollars’ Worth of Free Publicity, attests to the success Dian has enjoyed as one of the country’s foremost experts on public relations.
