I want to encourage all of you to take up Yoga. It is accessible to everyone no matter what your fitness level is and it is great way to wake up your body and start to move in ways you may have forgotten you can. Some people have Yoga studios nearby, but for those of you that do not, there are many different sources on line that you can stream directly into your home.
Namaste’, James Knight
People often ask me how I created this method of body movement.
I’ve always been interested in consciousness and learning how to live my life to its fullest potential. I’m a deeply spiritual person and I’ve been fortunate to have some amazing teachers in my life.
While I was attending Sonoma State University I took my first yoga class. It was called Somatic Yoga, taught by Eleanor Criswell.
I loved Somatic Yoga so much that I took it for several semesters. Eleanor, Thomas Hanna’s wife, taught me how to self regulate and experience myself from within.
